The "House of the smiling sun" is perched on the side of a stunningly beautiful canyon and enjoys 360 degree views of the finest scenery that sedona is famous for.These breath taking , unobstructed views include the majestic Cathedral Rock, Pyramid Rock, The mongolian rim and other red rock vista. Nestled in a quiet ,peaceful , and sought after location in the panoramic region of Sedona, this magnificent family home offers 3 bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, dining room overlooking the canyon,courtyard entry, huge outdoor deck , 9 seat theraputic hot spa and is just a short walk- over private terrain - to oak creek canyon. The main living room features walls of glass overlooking the red rocks, a huge slate open fire place, comfortable chenille sofa's, large screen t.v., and and a dvd library. Chef's will love the gourmet kitchen offering sub zero re fridgerator, viking stove and grill, granite worktops, and cherry wood cabinetry . The master bedroom has unique arched windows, direct access to the courtyard, en suite black granite oversized shower and jacuzzi bath tub, eastern king sized bed with pillow top mattress and plush carpets. The second bedroom has a king sized bed and a twin sofa bed.The third bedroom is a favorite with children and adults - has a queen and 2 single beds and is hand painted by a local artist in scenes of nature. There are stunning views from every room in the house and from the hot spa which sits on the lower red rock deck overlooking Cathedral rock. We are a family friendly vacation home and offer amenities for children by request. The house of the smiling sun is also ideal for retreats, special occasions and friends re unions.
