Once an historic navigational point for steamships on Lake Superior this wonderful rustic, classic log cabin features 1 bedroom, 1 bath and a sleeping loft. The cobblestone beach is great for camp fires! Black Point is perched above the lake with a rugged path down to the beach. Weber charcoal grill. No phone or TV, just enjoy the surroundings! The stone fireplace wood stove insert is a cozy source of heat. Please keep this in mind when booking September and October reservations. Cabin is closed for the winter. Please note: While the historic nature of the cabin is a large part of its charm - it is not for everyone. We highly recommend you call and talk with our rental agents before booking. Rates quoted will be for 1-2 people. There is an additional $15/person/night fee for each additional guest. When booking reservations please be sure to enter your additional guests. Extra guest fees compensate for additional utility and cleaning fees and allow rates to directly reflect usage. If we do not receive these monies within 7 days of booking, your reservation is subject to cancellation. Once we receive your deposit, you will receive a confirmation number and a letter from us – reservations will not be considered firm without a confirmation. The balance of your payment is due no less than 30 days before arrival. Cascade Vacation Rentals will charge the balance due to the credit card on file unless we hear otherwise from you. If we do not receive the balance by the deadline, your reservation is subject to cancellation. CANCELLATION POLICY If you do need to cancel your reservation for any reason, please notify us as soon as possible. We will make every effort to re-rent the property. |
