| Thank you for all the special touches that make your guests feel like they are home and not in a rental. Loved the skewers hanging in the tree by the fire pit, the hammock, and the swings. It was a special treat to see the play structure for our young children! Everything was appreciated..especially having a washer and dryer to wash all our adventurous kids clothes! | ||||||||

| We were thrilled to find this house listing online, as the website description looked great and exactly what we were looking for for our family of 5's first trip to Yosemite. In short, the house exceeded our expectations. We arrived late afternoon (after following the owners' great advice to stop and buy groceries in Oakhurst) and instead of just waiting until the next morning to get out and explore, our 3 teenagers found the creek in the back yard, and then proceeded to hike and explore the woods just behind the house for a good hour-and-a-half. We then drove a few short minutes thru "town" to the base of the trail that led up to a fun waterfall - all before dinnertime. As comfortable and enticing the house was, we spent each of our next full 3 days heading in to Yosemite Village and/or Glacier point. We ran into no traffic and enjoyed the 50-60 minute drive with it's beautiful views. We had originally planned to go out to dinner at least half of our four nights, but with the home's full kitchen and fire pit, we all opted to head home, shower, and enjoy food (and smokes) cooked over the fire. And finally, we loved the peaceful and secluded location of the home, which was tucked at the very far end of the road. Clearly the wildlife like it as well, as we had a deer wander up to "visit" - coming within feet of our kids out by the fire pit. | ||||||||

| The home has all the modern comforts yet situated in a beautiful glade of pines. Whether your vacation goal is to "veg-out" or tackle Yosemite you may do so from this base of operations. The kitchen is fully outfitted except a shop for paper towels to coffee will be necessary, which you may do on your way to the Park or at the local well-stocked but higher priced general store. The media system is very advanced with DVD player, 3d TV, and smart TV. You may even make copies of classic vinyl compliments of the owners' CD maker. Roomy enough to sleep 8 or if you've got a snorer in your party like we do, 7. The inflatable bed is easy to operate and very comfortable for an inflatable. The wrap-around deck has automatic shades allowing you to bring as much or as little of the glorious setting inside. | ||||||||

| We are a family of six and were so comfortable in this beautiful home. The home was clean and well stocked with everything we needed from kitchen supplies to 3-D glasses and a movie for the big screen tv. The back deck and surrounding scenery was our favorite part of this home. You can hear the "creek" running through the back yard and see the beautiful trees everywhere. It is so peaceful. The backyard comes complete with a hammock, fire pit for s'mores, and a trail leading down to the water and beyond. Our only regret was that we did not have an extra day to spend the whole day there on the property. We would definitely recommend this home to others. | ||||||||

| We were looking for a peaceful setting with easy access to Yosemite Valley and what we found here was beyond our expectations. From the gorgeous deck, where we spent hours reading in the morning, grilling in the evening and star gazing at night, we could hear the river and see the Sierra Nevada mountains in the distance. The cabin is situated near the beautiful Wawona Hotel where there is golf and tennis available and a nice restaurant. Stunning hikes along the river are within walking distance from the cabin. Yosemite Valley and Glacier Point are both about an hour’s drive away with breathtaking scenery on every hike. Though you will want to venture out into the spectacular park, the cabin itself was hard to leave. Every detail is attended to. The décor is just lovely --inviting and comfortable in every way. It was hard to tear ourselves away from this wonderful retreat. It was truly one of the most wonderful vacations my family has ever had. We can’t wait to go back! | ||||||||
