KTA Super Stores was started by Koichi and Taniyo Taniguchi in the year of 1916. In the beginning, it was just a small store. At present, it has six stores in the island of Hawaii. KTA Super Stores are located at Keawe, Keauhou, Waimea, Waikoloa Village market, Puainako and Kailua. One can also watch the television show “Living in Paradise”, which is presented by KTA Super Stores.

 In Waimea the KTA store is located at Waimea center, 65-118, Mamalahoa Hwy, Kamuela, HI 96743. In Waikoloa, the KTA store is located at Waikoloa Highlands Center. In Kailua village, KTA Super Stores is situated in Kailua Shopping Center.
