The Hans Hedemann Surf School in Hawaii offers an enriched surfing experience for the beginner, advanced and the intermediate surfers. It offers a great way of learning to surf safely and quickly. Being the premiere surfing school, it has a team of CPR trained instructors and Lifeguards. With years of experience, these instructors can customize surf lessons which would be well suited for the student. The 2-hour lessons are held at 9am, 12pm and 3pm. The lesson starts with a 20 minutes land lesson where proper paddling techniques and surfboard handling is taught. It is followed by a 1.5 hours lesson on waves riding.
The equipments required for the lesson such as the surfboard and rash guard lycras is included in the package. Surf lessons with hotel packages are also available and custom courses can be constructed to fit the individual needs. The customised surf tours are available for the tourists and the chance to surf at well known spots such as the Pipeline, kewalos and the Ehukai Beach Park. It is available at six locations in Oahu: Outrigger Reef, Park Shore Waikiki, Sheraton Waikiki, Kahala Mandarin Oriental, New Otani Kaimana Beach Hotel and the Turtle Bay Resort (North Shore). |
