The Honolulu zoological society is actually a non-profit organization whose main aim is to provide support to the Honolulu zoo and it works to encourage an admiration of our living world.
The Honolulu zoo opens from 9:00 am till 5:30 pm. The zoo’s last entry is only taken before 4:30. The zoo is opened through out the year but only on Christmas day zoo gets closed.
The entry fee of zoo for adults is $8, for locals$4, for kids who are fall between the ages 0f 6 to 12 $1 and for children who are under the age of 5 their entry is free.

The Zoo has been spread over 42 acres of land and is considered to be the home of 995 different species animals. Komodo dragons, birds, reptiles, elephants, amphibians, primates and different variety of African elephants are the major highlights of the zoo.
