The garden is located on a beautiful eight acre site containing several hundred plants including bromeliads, proteas, orchids and several other native plants. The plants are labelled with their common names, botanical names and their country of origin. The natural setting of this amazing garden provides waterfalls, unusual rock formations, panoramic view of the Maui Mountains and Valley, beautiful ponds and several new attractions together with the tiki exhibit.
The gift shop at the Kula Botanical Garden Inc offers snacks, beverages and several Hawaiian products. The Nene geese, Jackson Chameleon exhibit, Aviary and the African Cranes are especially enjoyable for children. It also features restrooms and a comfortable deck offering panoramic views.
The Kula Botanical Garden remains open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm and reservations can be made by calling (808) 878-1715. They accept all major credit cards including American Express, MasterCard, and Visa. |
