| The Music Director Lisa Owen is also the founder of the band and they would be performing on July 2nd at Queen Kaahumanu Center in Kahului and on July 4th at Lahaina Town Park. The 4th of the July festivities would begin on the Lahaina Library Town at 5:30 pm. The show would be opened by The Mike Buono Jazz Trip and fireworks in the finale. The Maui Community Band will debut an original Hawaiian medley that has been commissioned particularly for the festival of Arts education for Children group.
