Maui Half Marathon is the out and back from the Whalers Village in the Kaanapali Resort. This fast and flat course passes through the Lahaina Town tracing the last 6.55 miles of marathon course, move around at the Launiupoko Park and then returns to the Kaanapali Resort taking the same direction. This well known and oldest Hawaiian Marathon welcomes all the people in this event. It also offers awards to the winners in all groups with different age. It has actually experienced great number of interested people turning up during the marathon. This year, this marathon will be held on 20 September, 2009 and come to an end on the same day. | |||||||||||||||
