It moved to 6,000 foot store in the year 1948. The store was now definitely good and attractive. It featured big picture windows, lovely new building. An array of products was now available from paper goods to pots and pans as well as food items.
Slowly, Yukimura realized that it was time to grow his shop further. He then started catering to restaurant and hotel industry. In 1969, the retail shop was closed and instead a 15000 sqaure feet warehouse space was opened. By 1980 the business got doubled.
A brand new facility was opened in 1983 and major changes and renovation were brought in the year 1987 and 1991. It was in the year 1987, that the company changed its name to Koa Trading Company and created a new logo. |
