The award winning sugar museum that is the Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum is the marvellous repository of the exhibits and information about the one of the most essential and significant periods in the history of Maui. This 1,800 sq ft museum which is essentially dedicated to presenting and preserving the heritage and history of the sugar industry in Maui not merely charts the growth and establishment of industry, but it also looks at the sugar’s influence on enhancement of the water resources in Maui. It also looks at the great influence on rich multinational make up and the features which displays on inner working of the sugar mill.
Alexander & Baldwin Sugar Museum operates from Monday till Saturday except on the major holidays. It opens at 9:30 am and closes at 4:30 pm. It accepts all major credit cards like Visa, etc making mode of payment very simple and easy. |
