The main objective of the association is to promote tourism throughout the Hawaiian island working closely with the Visitors Bureaus of each island. Since its inception, the A3H has thrived on accomplishing goals related to the protection of the consumer and the development of standards in the state. Over the years, it has achieved success in formulating benefit programs and several collective marketing for its members. These include Island Activity Map, Activities and Attraction Guidebooks, Travel Agent Referral Program or TARP, A3H Gold Discount Card, the entry for Hawaii's elective tours and the Mainland Tradeshow representation. The members of the A3H make sure that the visitors have plenty of exciting and entertaining things to do while they are in the Hawaiian Islands.
