McBryde Garden is located at the “Garden Isle”, in the verdant Lawai Valley on Kauai and is home to the largest collection of native Hawaiian flora in the world outsider the wild, as well as extensive flowering tress, plantation of balms, orchids, helicconias and various other plants species that are collected from the tropical regions. The McBryde Garden contains a major Horticulture & Conservation Centre with micro-propagation and nursery laboratory. It is located adjacent to the Allerton Garden and the NTBG’s National Headquarters.
McBryde Garden also offers self-guided tours with Tram departing to garden every hour on the 1/2-hour 9:30-2:30 pm Daily. No reservations needed but the visitors are requested to check in at least 30 minutes prior to the desired tram departure time. The guided Ho’ike Tour also offers other areas of the McBryde Garden and included parts of the Allerton Garden. They accept all major credit cards including American Express, MasterCard and Visa.
