Yosemite Cabins Allow You to Get Close to Nature
Yosemite cabin rentals are a great way to see nature up close without having to pitch a tent or stay in an RV. You can be close to any attraction you wish to be close to and you can have the amenities you need to make your stay enjoyable. These cabins are available inside Yosemite Park, outside of it, and around each of the park’s entrances.Inside the park:
Inside the park, there are a number of lodges that offer both cabins and tent cabins. Tent cabins have canvas roofs and/or canvas walls. It is like a tent/cabin hybrid that gives you the security of a cabin with some of the features of a tent.
Nevertheless, traditional cabins can be found in Curry Village and various other areas inside the park. You can decide whether or not you want to choose a cabin with a bath or without. There are also tent cabins, Stoneman Cottages, cabins with sitting areas, and some with fireplaces. What you want depends upon you and what kind of Yosemite cabin deals you hope to snag.
Outside the Park:
There are some areas outside of Yosemite Park that are still close to some of the most popular areas. For instance, Yosemite West has cabins near the Badger Pass Ski Area. Many individuals choose this area because it’s close to Glacier Point and the large Sequoias of Mariposa Grove.
Another area outside of the park with great cabin rentals is outside of the Arch Rock Entrance along the Merced River. This is about a 30 to 40 minute drive from Yosemite valley, but a lot of Yosemite cabin deals can be found here.
Tent Cabins:
Tent cabins are constructed in different ways. There are cabins with concrete walls and canvas ceilings and canvas internal walls. They may also be made with concrete floors and canvas walls and ceilings. There are some camps throughout Yosemite offering these types of Yosemite cabin rentals in areas where cabins would not be built otherwise. This is a way to get even more so in the middle of nature, while still being able to be indoors to an extent. Plus, with the possible absence of electricity and the use of such things as a wood burning stove, you can really get in touch with nature.
So now you know what types of Yosemite lodging rentals you can choose from. Just make sure that you don’t pay full price because there are plenty of Yosemite cabin deals that you can take advantage of no matter what kind of cabin you wish to stay in. That way you can enjoy all that Yosemite has to offer without having to pay a lot of money to do it.
